Yoga Alliance RYT® 200

I’m a military spouse & mom to 9 beautiful children.

My kids range in age from ages 18 to baby: Hyrum, Asher, Amalia, Salem, Tyndale, Wesley, Alvin, August, & Anton (born summer of 2023).

My husband & I married in 2004, & I helped to support him through undergraduate study & law school in our early years of marriage.

In my twenties, I was a group fitness professional, certified yoga instructor, & blogger.

My thirties have primarily been spent raising babies, supporting my US Air Force active duty husband, & being a full-time mom.

We have lived all over the world: Provo, UT; San Antonio, TX; Okinawa, Japan; Del Rio, TX; Charlottesville, VA; Tokyo, Japan; & most recently Shreveport, LA.

I am passionate about helping women, particularly moms, realize their full potential through shifting mindset & daily habits.

I have a special interest in helping pre, pregnant, & postpartum women. Motherhood is an amazing journey, & it’s my life’s mission to help, love & support fellow moms through teaching them the skills & tools necessary to be fit, strong, & confident.

I decided to go into personal training & coaching after realizing that there is a huge gap in the market for real moms, specifically postpartum women, looking for representation in the fitness industry.

With my unique background & skills I am anxious to help fellow moms find balance & discover their inner & outer strength through making sustainable dietary & lifestyle changes.

A little more about me:

I received an A.S. in business in 2001, & my B.A. in English from Brigham Young University in 2004.

I completed my 200-hr yoga teacher training through 3B Yoga (formally It’s Yoga) in Provo, UT & am a Yoga Alliance RYT® 200. I am also certified as a personal trainer & nutrition coach through National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM).

I enjoy listening to podcasts & audiobooks, studying religious texts & scripture, & spending time in the kitchen.

I love a good conversation & you will often find me striking up a conversation with just about anyone, wherever I go. People are the most fascinating subject to study & I truly enjoy learning about others.

Our family loves the outdoors & playing in water. We love the many distinct opportunities afforded to us as a military family as we serving our country & are able to live in different parts of the world.

We are proud to serve & love the diversity of cultures & environments we get to experience!

My motto: there’s always something more to learn 💓.
